Estimates are published in hryvnia because a plan set is scoped by the ground, not by a template. A six-are courtyard in Kyiv with one border and a single paved route takes far fewer drafting hours than a sloped twenty-four-are plot that needs retaining levels, drainage falls and three separate planting zones.
Each line in the table below names what the figure includes, what it leaves out, and the one measured condition that most often moves it. Nothing is proposed before soil, drainage, slope and light have been read on site, so the plant list always comes after the ground survey and the circulation route.
